Philips HeartStart FR2 Plus Automatic External Defibrillator

The HeartStart FR2 Plus provides an effective means to treat victims in sudden cardiac arrest. This lightweight, rugged and easy-to-use Automatic External Defibrillator is designed to meet the needs of both Public Access Defibrillation and First Responders, such as police officers, firefighters, and EMS providers to deliver lifesaving therapy as soon as possible. Its patented SMARTBiphasic waveform is the most patient-friendly technology available today.

The HeartStart FR2 Plus can be used with optional Pediatric Defibrillation Pads to safely defibrillate infants and children under 8 years or 55 pounds. It is the first AED to be cleared for use on adults and children of any age. Packaging, graphics, and unique pink teddy bear-shaped connector insure that correct pads are chosen. Training pads are also available in pediatric configuration for realistic training scenarios. Yellow connector clearly indicates that pads are not for treatment.
